Theme: “Music”
There are few things as universal as music appreciation. Ok, death. But unless we plan to have a big, ol’ posthumous party, we have not experienced that firsthand. Ok, pooping. We’ve covered that.
But really, in the words of Prophet Bob Marley: “One good thing about music: when it hits, you feel no pain.” How true, Bob, how true. Truthfully, there are many good things about music. Come share a tale of how music saved your life. Or how you make music. Or that song, y’know, that song that gets you every. friggin’. time. Or an example of what a certain kind of music does for you. Maybe you’re a musician… when did you first know? Come share (or hear) the music of your life at the Ale House this Tuesday night.
Monday, January 20 @ The Olde English Pub (Albany)
Hosted by Gregor Wynnyczuk
7:30 – 9:30 pm
25 Quackenbush Square
Theme: “Resolutions “
Yes, I know! It is a new year and many of us are thinking how can we be better or different which often translates into a resolution of some kind. Hey, new beginnings…
But also consider that when things are resolved they are done – happy ending, sad ending, whatever the issue is put to rest and we can move on.
So consider a story of something you have resolved to do, or a situation that is resolved. Or perhaps one that you had to remain resolute throughout…
Share widely.
If you’d like to throw your name in the can to tell a story, and you know you’ll be a lil’ late, post a comment here.
See you ’round the mic. And as always…
Listening is an act of love.
