Bumping Up

October 2013 Events

Two Front Parlor Evenings:

Tuesday, October 8The Ale House (Troy)
Hosted by Abby Lublin
7:30 – 9:30 pm
680 River Street
Theme: “Standing Up”

When did you decide you weren’t taking it any longer? Pushed too far?  Take action because something ain’t right?!

(Or maybe you have a surprisingly great tale involving physical therapy.)

Come share your story, and/or listen to others, this Tuesday at the Ale House.

…and the 2013 TNAC Troy City Council Candidates Night is happening before, and slightly during, Front Parlor.
6:00 – 8:00pm on the same Tuesday
Old School 12, 475 First Street, South Troy
between Harrison St. and Tyler St./Bridge Ave.
Parking lot on the south side of the school
Come to hear what the candidates have to say about issues in Troy that are important to you. Please submit your questions to Marie Gavazzi (a Front Parlor regular attendee) at MLG01 [at] earthlink.net by October 7th at noon.

Monday, October 14 The Olde English Pub (Albany)
Hosted by Gregor Wynnyczuk
7:30 – 9:30 pm
25 Quackenbush Square
Theme: “Things that go bump in the night”

Stay tuned for a blurb, though this one hardly needs more prompting.
Come to the OEP on the third Monday for another exciting evening of live storytelling.

…AND we have big things to announce for the storytelling horizon. True to Front Parlor form, you’ll have to hear about it in person first.  Or in first person.

Share widely.

If you’d like to throw your name in the can to tell a story, and you know you’ll be a lil’ late, post a comment here.

See you ’round the mic. And as always…

Listening is an act of love.
