April Front Parlor Events

April 2015 Events

Tuesday, April 14 @ The Ale House (Troy)
Hosted by Abby Lublin
7:30 – 9:30 pm
680 River Street
Theme: “Bodies”

This month, lay it all on the line.
Your body, that is.
Tell a tale of a time your body betrayed you, or perhaps was subject to inordinate attention.  Maybe you have a special relationship one of your body’s many complicated systems, or have a story of triumph over bodily adversity.  Or maybe you’d like to wax poetic on the body politic.
Regardless, we’ve all got ’em, so let’s share ’em.

Monday, April 20 The Olde English Pub (Albany)
Hosted by Gregor Wynnyczuk
7:30 – 9:30 pm
25 Quackenbush Square
Theme: “Foreign Affairs”

Events in far away places impact our lives. From major world events to passing interactions, people in other countries and other cultures can affect our world.

So this month let’s think globally, and tell locally.

Share widely.

If you’d like to throw your name in the can to tell a story, and you know you’ll be a lil’ late, post a comment here.

See you ’round the mic. And as always…

Listening is an act of love.
